While it was a straight set win, it was nowhere near that easy Tuesday night for the Caldwell County Lady Tigers volleyball team. Caldwell County opened up the season on the road against Christian County, and came away with a 25-20, 25-22, 25-20 win over the Lady Colonels.
Caldwell County opened the sets strong, saw Christian County battle back, and then finished out strong to get the win in the season opening match for both teams. Afterwards, Caldwell County head coach Daniel Cortner told YourSportsEdge.com he was happy with their effort put forth by his team.
