Hopkinsville senior football player JaKevis Bryant is seeing his hard work on and off the football field pay off for him. Bryant led a Tiger resurgence on defense in 2017 by leading the team in tackles (64) and fumble recoveries.
His strong play saw him named to the Kentucky All-Star squad in the Kentucky-Tennessee Border Bowl that played in Sevierville, TN last month. Bryant and his Kentucky teammates won 34-18.
Bryant has recovered from a pair of torn ACLs and followed it with hard work that has him position to continue his football career in college. He has received offers from Campbellsville and Bethel, TN.
In the classroom, JaKevis carries a 3.4 GPA and scored a 23 on his ACT.
