After finishing tied for 3rd over the weekend in the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic, Caldwell County native Emma Talley made big move in the LPGA rankings. According to lpga.com, Talley, who is in her rookie season on the LPGA Tour, climbed 29 spots in this week’s Rolex Rankings. The jump places her at #101, which is her highest ranking in her young career.
Talley began the 2018 season ranked #357 in the world.
Additionally, with her outstanding weekend, Talley gained on Jin Young Ko in the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year standings. Ko continues to lead the season-long race with 814 points, 484 points ahead of Talley who has 330 points.
