Harrell Guier has missed very few Trigg County football games since 1975. Saturday, he was inducted into the Trigg County High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

If you look at the Trigg County sideline during football games, you will likely see Harrell Guier decked out in black and white while supporting the Wildcats. Harrell has been a staple at Trigg County football games since 1975. He served as a manager for the football team from 1975-78 and has been continued to be a part of the football program in the years that have followed.

Since graduating TCHS in 1978, Harrell has continued to support the Wildcat football team on Friday nights and has missed only a handful of games over the years. His sprint on and off the field to retrieve the kicking tee was marveled by players, especially linemen, who wondered how he could still move that fast.

Guier’s continued support of the Wildcat football team, which has spanned 44 Wildcat teams and seven head coaches, prompted a player to say, “He may have never scored a touchdown or made a tackle at Perdue Field, but was likely the inspiration for some who did.”
