Christian County’s John Buchanan and Hopkinsville’s Caitlyn Shelton took home medalist honors at a trianugular match Thursday at Western Hills Golf Course. Buchanan shot a 32 to help the Colonels edge Hopkinsville by one shot 176-177. Carson Holmes added a 38.
Hopkinsville’s James Folz finished third after shooting a 41, while Edward Major shot a 44, and Cole Taylor shot a 45.
University Heights finished third with a team score of 207. Jiles Wyatt shot a 45, while Weston Wood was one shot back with a 46.
Shelton’s 41 was low score for the ladies, while Jenna Humphries shot a 45 for Christian County to finish second. Hannah Sumner’s 49 was good for third. Rheagan Lindsey shot a 54 to lead the UHA golfers.
