Hopkinsville senior Gavin Marschand is this week’s Spotlight Athlete. Gavin is a receiver for the Tiger football team and is putting up big numbers on the field. In three games so far, Marschand has caught 15 passes for 388 yards, an average of 25.8 yards per catch and 129 yards per game.
In Saturday’s loss to Caldwell County, Marschand had eight catches for 158 yards and a touchdown.
Off the field, Marschand was recognized as an academic scholar with an ACT score of 28 or higher and was a 2017 Governor’s Scholar.
