Heritage Christian Academy fared well at the Lake Cumberland Fall Invite at Eubank Park Saturday.
In the boys’ varsity race, Isaac Bowers finished 22nd in a time of 23:09, while David Rambo was 33rd in 27:18. David Fletcher of Community Christian Academy won the race in a time of 17:54.
In the girls’ middle school race, Liberty Hartsell finished 10th in 16:26. In the boys’ race, Pate Griffey finished eighth in a time of 13:08.
In the elementary girls’ race, Anneliese Hartsell finished 20th with a time of 9:56 over the 2,000 meters. Kyla Cherry finished 31st, followed by Mackenzie McCarty (33rd) to help HCA finish sixth as a team.
In the elementary boys’ race, John Spurling led the HCA runners with a 17th place finish. He was followed by Cooper Griffey (23rd), Jerry Spurling (32nd), Jerret Delestowcz (36th), Peyton Porupski (41st), and Lucas Brockwell (65th). As a team, HCA finished sixth.
