Lyon County's Cullan Brown finished second at the KHSAA State Golf Tournament Wednesday.
He was runner-up at this year’s boys state golf tournament, and now he has been selected to be a member of the All-State Golf Team. The Kentucky Junior Golf Foundation and the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association announced their All-State teams Wednesday.
The teams are determined by a point system that is based on regular season play. Lyon County’s Cullan Brown qualified for the 2nd team All-State. Also making the 2nd team was Jay Nimmo, of Marshall County.
On the girls side Shelby Darnell, of Madisonville made the first team, while Payton Carter, of Henderson County, and Hallie Riley, of Marshall County, made the 2nd team.
