Warriors Run Past Christian Fellowship 71-56

Slow starts have stymied Heritage Christian Academy in their early basketball games despite their 6-1 start. The Warriors had no such trouble Tuesday in beating Christian Fellowship 71-56 at Warrior Gym in a game they led by 23 after three quarters.

HCA shot 50-percent from the field in the first half and jumped out to a 12-0 lead. HCA led 19-10 after one quarter and 42-20 at halftime.

Christian Fellowship stayed close by hitting four shots from 3-point range in the first half.

Gavin Fowler led the Warriors with 22 points, three rebounds, and three steals. He knocked down four 3-pointers. Dalton Folz added 18 points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Rajah Mills joined those two in double figures with 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Kam Cunningham came off the bench to score eight points and dish out three assists, while Josh Jones added six points and four rebounds.

CFS was led by Brice Ethridge who scored a game-high 23 points.

HCA (7-1) is off until November 30th when they host Hendersonville Christian.
