After starting the season off at 5-0, the Todd Central Rebels lost for the second time in less than 24 hours Saturday, falling to the Murray Tigers 64-58 in the Murray Bank Christmas Classic. The Rebels were shorthanded for a big part of the game, as starters Nolan Barrow and John Calvery sat for three quarters, due to what reports say were for violation of a team rule.

With the two starters out, the Rebels found themselves down by ten points in the third quarter. When the two returned to the lineup, the Rebels rallied but came up just short in the six point loss.

Todd County Central was led by Austin Rager with 16 points. Collin Sharp added 10. After they entered the lineup, Calvery had 7 points, while Barrow chipped in with 6.

The Rebels fall to 5-2 on the season, and will get ready to play in the Baptist Health & Sports Rehab Holiday Classic, Thurday through Saturday at Webster County. The Rebels will play Webster County, Louisville Western, and Christian County in the three day event.
