VIDEO – Blazers Advance to Region All-A Title Game

University Heights overcame the rust of a 10-day layoff to hand Dawson Springs a 75-39 loss in the Second Region All-A Classic semifinals at Crittenden County.  The Blazers used a 17-0 run in the first half and eventually built a mercy rule lead in the fourth quarter.

Kyky Tandy scored 17 of his 19 points in the first half, and Drew McGowan knocked down threes shots from behind the arc in the third quarter to finish with 17 points.  Quan Hollowell scored 11 points, and K.J. Crump added nine points as 10 Blazers reached the scoring column.

Dawson Springs, who was outscored 27-10 in the second quarter, got 14 points from Braxton Cotton.

UHA will shoot for their sixth straight All-A region title Sunday afternoon at 2pm against Livingston Central in Marion.
