The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons came as close to a win Saturday as they have all season long. A dry spell early in the 3rd quarter was their undoing as the Lady Falcons fell to Christian Fellowship 40-28.

Fort Campbell led the contest after one quarter 9-8. Christian Fellowship rallied in the second quarter to take a 19-15 lead into the halftime break.

The Lady Falcons scored the first four points of the second half to tie the game at 19-19, with 6:25 left in the 3rd quarter. The Lady Eagles then went on a 10-0 run to take control of the game at 29-19. The run was one from which the Lady Falcons could not recover, as Christian Fellowship led after the third quarter 31-19.

Fort Campbell played even with Christian Fellowship in the 4th quarter, but the deficit was too much for the Lady Falcons to overcome.

Brianna Dugger and Jordan Wilson led the way for Fort Campbell with 11 points each.
