Christian County senior guard LaDeria Gold helped steer the Lady Colonels to their first appearance in the 2nd Region championship game since the 2010/11 season, knocking off Henderson County 53-50 on Friday night. Afterward, Gold talked about how it felt to advance in the tournament, and how the team was able to turn the game with 2nd Region Player of the Year Trinitee Jackson on the bench.
