In girls’ singles play, Lyon County’s Zoe Board dropped her first match 6-2, 6-0 to UHA’s Kate Bennett, with Divina Wallace also losing in the first round 6-2, 6-1 to Christian County’s Lantana Hight.
The duo of Audrey Crayne and Caitlin Cromerford beat Union County 6-1, 6-1 in the first round, but lost 6-3, 6-4 to Webster County in their second match. Jakia Burks and Octavia Bradley were stopped in the first round by Madisonville 6-2, 6-1.
In boys’ singles, Brandon Burban knocked-off Christian County’s Kordell Cooper 6-4, 6-0 before falling to Hoptown’s 2nd-seeded Newcomb Maddux.
The doubles team of Trey Langhi and Austin Burban lost their opener 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-7) to Christian County.
