The young University Heights Academy boys doubles entry of Brady Bilyeu and Dylan Edmonson gained some valuable experience during their appearance Thursday at the Boys State Tennis Tournament in Lexington. The two sophomores were paired up against the duo of Landon Gann and Parker Young, from Greenwood High School.
Bilyeu and Edmonson were swept 6-0 in the first set. The two Blazers continued battling into and through the second set, before falling in the set by a score of 6-1.
The UHA duo qualified for the state tournament by reaching the semifinal round of play in the 2nd Region Tournament.
