Trigg County had four players named to the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association All-Academic Team.
Logan Darnall and Madison Simpson were both named to the First-Team All-Academic Team, while Hannah Colbert and Ashlyn Keller were named to the Second Team.
The Kentucky Softball Coaches Association All-Academic Softball Team is comprised of juniors and seniors that have played in half of their team’s games. First team selections have a GPA between 3.75 and 4.0. Second team selections are between 3.50 and 3.74, and honorable mention selections are between 3.25 and 3.49. Grades are based on cumulative weighted GPAs through the fall semester, according to the coaches’ association. Schools must also be a member of the KSCA to be eligible.
