There is no blood relation between Mitchell Moore and Anna Moore, but the two golfers do have a connection on the golf course. Mitchell has coached Anna in recent years and watched the Murray State golfer be named All-Ohio Valley Conference and win the Kentucky Women’s Amateur the past two years.
On Monday, Mitchell gets to watch Anna’s game up close. He will be her caddy at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Golf Championship this week at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs. Anna will play 18-hole rounds on Monday and Tuesday in an attempt to qualify for match play Wednesday.
