Anna Moore’s week at the U.S. Amateur Golf Championship did not go the way she wanted, but the Murray State Racer can use the event as a way to prepare for the upcoming college season.
Moore shot an 8-over 80 on the first day and followed it up with an 84 on Tuesday, resulting in her missing the cut for third round of match play.
The women’s amateur was played at the Golf Club at Tennessee in Kingston Springs, one of the top-rated courses in the South. Moore begins her college season for Murray State on September 10 at the Payne Stewart Memorial at Missouri State.
