UHA Goes to 4-0 With Win Over Caldwell County (w/PHOTOS)

The UHA Blazers continued their very strong start to the 2018 soccer season Tuesday night. The Blazer went on the road to Princeton and came away with an 8-0 win over the Caldwell County Tigers.

The Blazers broke open a tight game by scoring six unanswered second half goals to pull away for the big win. Tanner Thomas paced the Blazers with a hat trick. Ian Calvert added two goals of his own on the night.

The Blazers broke the ice early in the match with Elvin Wagner scoring at the 2:00 mark to put UHA up 1-0. Will Bryan added a goal at 15:01 to make it 2-0, which is where the teams would stand at the end of the first half.

The Blazers then unleashed an offensive onslaught in the second half. Tanner Thomas scored two goals in the first three minutes of the half to extend the lead to 4-0. Ian Calvert then scored a pair of goals in a 50 second time span to push the lead out to 6-0 with less than seven minutes gone in the second half.

Thomas added his third goal of the night and Connor Dill added one at the 73:30 mark to close out the scoring for the night.

The win improves UHA to 4-0 on the season. The Blazers have given up only 2 goals in those four matches. Caldwell County falls to 0-4.
