Ty Butts brought home medalist honors for the first time this season for Trigg County in a dual match with Christian County Wednesday at Arrowhead Golf Course.
Butts shot a 2-over 38 and finished three shots ahead of teammate Ethan Nolcox, who shot a season-best 41 over nine holes.
Haydon Reynolds shot a 44 for Trigg County, and Greyson Grissom added a season-low 46. As a team Trigg County shot a 169.
Christian County’s Jenna Humphries took medalist honors for the ladies, shooting a 43. Bridget Owens followed with a 45, and Hannah Sumner shot a 49. Trigg County’s Alex Ethridge shot a 47.
Micah Smith and Houston George both shot a 44 for the Colonels, with Ethan White carding a 48, and Brady Hightower shot a 49.
