Bell Hat Trick Pushes Lady Colonels to Win Over St. Mary

The Christian County girls’ soccer team cruised to a 5-1 win over visiting St. Mary Monday night at the Stadium of Champions, propelled by 3 goals from Autumn Bell.  The Lady Colonels have won three straight to improve to 3-2 overall, while St. Mary continues to search for its first win at 0-5.

Emma Fleming scored thirteen minutes in to give the Lady Colonels the lead, before Bell notched her first goal to double the margin.  With seconds remaining in the first half, Kylee Knight found the back of the net for a 3-0 lead at the break.

Bell finished off her hat trick with two goals after halftime, with the Lady Vikings scoring their first goal of the season for the final 5-1 score.  Payton Hale earned the win in goal for the Lady Colonels.

Christian County will look to extend its winning streak on Thursday, hitting the road for a match with Grayson County.  The Lady Cougars stand at 4-3, also winners of three straight.
