Colonel Runners Compete at Calloway County

Christian County’s David Krzywada brought home a top-20 finish at the Calloway County Cross Country Invitational Saturday in Murray. The Christian County sophomore completed the 3.1-mile course in 19:35 to finish in 20th place.

Ethan Dooley finished 34th in a time of 20:50. Other Colonel runners were Nick Sanderson (38th, 21:10); Dasean Dunham (49th, 22:06); K’Ron Sherald (55th, 22:24); Ryan Simpson (65th, 23:49), and Perry Cunningham (67th, 24:00).

As a team, Christian County finished eighth in the team competition.

For the ladies, Mystery Siler led the Lady Colonels with a 54th place finish in 32:07. She was followed across the finish line by Aly Adler (60th, 33:24); and Destiny Carter (68th, 36:39).

In the middle school boys’ race, Wyatt Fleming led Christian County with a 13th place finish followed by Allen Wells (44th) and Logan Carter (58th).

In the middle school girls’ race, Jaynah Cady finished 54th followed by Cori’Anna Cunningham (56th) and Lillian Westerfield (60th).
