Lyon County’s girls’ soccer team beat St. Mary 10-0 Thursday for their sixth straight win and eighth in 11 games.
Leah Schroeder was one of two Lady Lyons with hat tricks on the evening. The Lady Lyon freshman scored four times, and Mia Myers added three goals and an assist as Lyon County scored five goals in each half.
Rose Smith also had a pair of goals, and MaKenzie Lewis scored once.
Freshman Abby Smith and the Lady Lyon defense recorded their second shutout of the season.
The six-game winning streak is Lyon County’s longest since a seven-game streak in 2007. The Lady Lyons are now 8-3 which is their most wins since the 2012 season. Lyon will close out district play Monday at Crittenden County.
