The Christian County girls’ soccer team went on the road to Morganfield Monday night, using a second-half onslaught to roll to a 7-0 victory over hosts Union County.  The Lady Colonels win their second-straight to improve to 9-7-1, while the Lady Braves drop to 3-7-3 overall.

Emma Fleming got the Lady Colonels on the board inside the opening 2 minutes, but that would be all they could manage over the first 40 minutes.  Christian County scored 3 goals in 10 minutes at the beginning of the second half, with Autumn Bell and Lexi Hendrix finding the back of the net before Fleming scored her second.  Hendrix and Bell were on target again with just under 20 minutes to play, and Lilly Larkins finished off the scoring with a goal as the game wound down.

Christian County will be back on the bus on Tuesday, wrapping up its regular-season schedule with a match in Greenville against the Muhlenberg County Lady Mustangs (14-6).
