Lyon County’s girls’ soccer team has won eight straight games for the first time in nearly 20 years. Leah Schroeder scored four goals to lead the Lady Lyons past Paducah Tilghman 8-0 Tuesday.
Destiny Dycus added two goals, and Rose Smith and Mia Myers also scored a goal. Smith and Myers added assists for the Lady Lyons, whose defense notched their third shutout of the season.
Lyon County improved to 10-3 with their eighth straight win, reaching double figures in wins for the first time in 11 years. The Lady Lyons close out the regular season Thursday at home against Union County.
