Caldwell County receiver Oliver Parker and Coach David Barnes earned district honors from the Kentucky Football Coaches Association Monday.
Parker, who has committed to Western Kentucky University, was named the Class 3A, District 1 Player of the Year after a senior campaign that saw him haul in 48 passes for 894 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Barnes, who coached the Tigers to an 8-4 record and the school’s fourth straight Class 3A, District 1 title, was named the district coach of the year.
