Dawson Springs continued their mastery of Livingston Central at the Panther Pit with a 67-56 win over the Cardinals Tuesday in Dawson Springs.
Once again, it was the Panther backcourt that fueled a fast start. Skylar Clark scored 13 points in the first quarter as the Panthers grabbed a 21-15 lead. Austin Skinner picked up the scoring slack in the second quarter, scoring nine of his 10 points in the fame as the Panthers led 37-32 at intermission.
Any chance Livingston Central had at making a comeback disappeared at the charity stripe where the Cardinals made just 12-of-26.
Clark hit six 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 26 points. Ethan Huddleston added 11 points as the Panthers hit nine 3-pointers in the game.
T’Roy Ringstaff led Livingston Central (4-5) with 16 points. Bryce Stein and Steve Mayhugh each scored 15 points.
Dawson Springs, who has won three straight games over Livingston Central at the Panther Pit, improves to 4-2 and travels to Fort Campbell Thursday.
