After building a 20-point advantage in the third quarter of Saturday night’s meeting with Jeffersontown, the Christian County Colonels saw their lead trimmed to 5 early in the fourth. However, the Colonels were able to find another gear and go on to a 75-57 victory in the final game of the Toyota of Hopkinsville Classic at Colonel Gym.
DaMikeon Mathis and Eric Brody each scored 14 points to lead the Colonels. Afterward, Brody spoke about the Colonels mindset entering the contest after a blowout loss to UHA in their last game, and how they let Jeffersontown back into the game.
