Caldwell County’s wrestlers finished eighth out of 25 schools Saturday at the Commando Crush Invitational in Hendersonville, Tenn.
Riley Johnson won the 106-pound class with a pair of decisions in the semifinals and final.
Dylan Walls took third place in the 120-pound class, battling back for a 7-5 decision win in the third place match.
Other Caldwell County wrestlers and their finishes were: John Paredes (152), consolation bracket winner; Seth Slayton (170), consolation bracket winner; and James Jones (120), fourth place in the consolation bracket.
Grissom (Ala.) High School defeated Clarksville 114-101.5. Caldwell County totaled 46 points.
