A sweep for University Heights and a coaches award for Christian County in basketball season awards announced Monday morning. The Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches released their boys and girls regional players of the year and their regional coaches of the year for all 16 regions.
In the 2nd Region, on the boys side, to no one’s surprise, UHA’s KyKy Tandy was named the “Player of the Year.” UHA head coach Grant Shouse was named the 2nd Region “Coach of the Year.”
On the girls side, Karlie Keeney, of Webster County was named the “Player of the Year.” Christian County coach Kiki Radford was named the girls “Coach of the Year” in the 2nd Region.
