Madisonville North-Hopkins coach Jeff Duvall liked what he saw early on in Monday night’s 2nd Region semifinal versus Henderson County, with the Lady Maroons beating the Lady Colonel pressure and getting layups on the way to an 11-7 lead after the first quarter. However, the second quarter would be a different story, as the Lady Maroons began to turn the ball over, allowing Henderson to close the half on a 19-5 run and build a lead it would never lose.
After seeing the season come to an end with a 52-42 loss, Coach Duvall talked about what led to his team’s 26 turnovers, and how he hopes the loss will fuel the Lady Maroons for next season.
