The Heritage Christian Warriors picked up their second scrimmage win in as many days Tuesday afternoon. The Warriors traveled down to post and came away with a 7-3 win over the Fort Campbell Falcons. The Warriors scored at least one run in each of the five innings played in the scrimmage.
For the Warriors, Josh Jones pitched all 5 innings, striking out 9 batters. Jones also went 2 for 3 at the plate and drove in 3 runs. Elijah Britton was 1-2 at the plate with 2 RBIs. Trenton Hayes walked three times, stole three bases, and scored three runs.
Fort Campbell was led by Eli Crockett and Tyler MacKay, who each went 2-3, MacKay had a double and an RBI. Matt Middleton was 1-2 with a double.
On the mound for the Falcons, Dylan Johnson and Tyler MacKay each went two innings and gave up three earned runs. Eli Crockett went an inning and gave up one earned run. Johnson had three strikeouts and MacKay had four.
