The Lady Tigers used the long ball to battle back and tie the game in the bottom of the sixth. Felker led off the inning with a solo home run to center. Majah Hollowell then drilled a two-run shot to center with two outs, knotting the score at 7-7.
But Caldwell couldn’t hold Henderson in check in the top of the seventh while dropping the three-run setback.
Felker finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a pair of RBIs for the Lady Tigers. Hollowell added the homer while Madi Choate and Emma Staples each had doubles.
Katie Franklin suffered the loss in the pitching circle. She allowed eight hits but only three of the 10 runs she gave up were earned because of five Caldwell errors. Franklin struck out five and walked two.
The Lady Tigers will return to action on Saturday at Christian County.
