Emma Talley Makes the Cut in Phoenix by Firing 69 in Second Round

Emma Talley will get to play 36 more holes at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup in Phoenix.
Talley made the cut by firing a 3-under-par 69 in second round action on Friday at Desert Ridge.
Talley had four birdies and just one bogey in the second round after carding a 1-over 73 in Thursday’s opening round.
The former Caldwell County High School and University of Alabama star is tied for 63rd. After making the cut by one stroke, Talley has an 8:50 a.m. tee time Saturday morning in Phoenix (10:50 a.m. Central Daylight Time).
Sung Hyun Park shares the lead at 12-under with Yu Liu in the event that honors the 13 women who founded the LPGA Tour.
Talley played in the Bank of Hope Founders Cup as an LPGA rookie last season, but failed to make the cut.
