Christian County had three athletes bring home top-three finishes Saturday at the Great Gator Invitational at Greenwood High School.
Ariyonna Johnson (high jump) and Cierra Ward (long jump) both finished third, while K’Ron Sherald was second in the 400-meter run.

Ariyonna Johnson – 3rd in the high jump (5-0); 5th in the long jump (13-11.75)
Cierra Ward – 3rd in the long jump (14-03.75); 5th in the triple jump (31-06.25); 8th in the 100-meter dash (13.89)
Jameisha Mack – 7th in the discus throw (80-08)
Ariana Cushenberry – 8th in the discus throw (78-04)
Zniya Benson – 16th in the 200-meter dash (29.84)
Destine Govan – 17th in the triple jump (26-10.25); 18th in the 100-meter dash (14.25)
Amelia Riddick – 26th in the shot put (20-11.75)
As a team, Christian County finished ninth out of 16 teams with 24 points. Mercer County won the event with 128 points.

As a team, Christian County was 10th out of 17 teams at the event, which was won by Manual High with 121 points.
