A third-inning rally pulled the Todd County Central baseball team to within a run of visiting Franklin-Simpson, but the Rebels were done in by eight errors on the way to a 14-4 loss on Tuesday night.  The streaking Wildcats have won three of four to move to 7-8 overall, while the Rebels slip to 0-4 with Hart County (1-9) coming to Elkton on Friday.

Trailing 5-0 in the bottom of the third, the Rebels used consecutive RBI singles by Bryce Nolan, Clayte Weathers and Tanner Farmer to get on the board.  With two outs in the inning, Jameson Hunt singled to bring in Nolan for a 5-4 score.

That would be as close at the Rebels could get, with the Wildcats adding 3 runs in the fourth, 5 in the fifth, and a run in the sixth to end the game.

Farmer took the loss for Todd County, lasting three and two-thirds innings while allowing 8 runs, 3 earned, on 6 hits, with 4 walks and a strikeout.  Jase Hampton gave up a run on a hit, with a walk and a strikeout in one and a third.

Jacob Adams earned the win for the Wildcats, working three innings and allowing 4 earned runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts.
