Rebels Hang Crooked Numbers on the Board in Win At Russellville

Todd County Central hung a 12-spot on Russellville in the fourth inning on their way to a 17-5 district win over the Panthers Tuesday.

The Rebels sent 17 batters to the plate during the inning, which was highlighted by two-run doubles by Tanner Farmer and Jacob Brandon. Todd County also scored three runs on bases loaded walks and were hit by a pitch twice with the bags packed in the frame.

Todd County banged out 10 hits in the contest. Brandon and Gavyn Nolan each had two hits and two RBIs for the Rebels, while Will Kearns also had two hits. Farmer drove in three runs in the game.

Kearns got the win in relief for Todd County, allowing just two hits in three innings. He struck out four and walked one.

Todd County (2-5) will host Butler County Thursday night in Elkton.
