Christian County’s Eric Silvy led-off the Colonels’ victory over Fort Campbell on Tuesday night with a home run, beginning a parade of long balls that would lead to an 18-2 blowout. Silvy joined a couple of other Colonels, Lane Diuguid and Austin Fields, in hitting their first career home run in the win over the Falcons.
Afterward, Silvy spoke about what he was looking for in his milestone at-bat and takes a look at what a top seed in the 8th-District tournament would mean for the Colonels.
