With two weeks left in the regular season for both baseball and softball, the locations for the district and region tournaments in the Second Region have been finalized.
The Fifth District uses an alphabetical rotation for their district tournament sites, with Livingston Central hosting both the baseball and softball tournaments.
Henderson County will host both the Sixth District softball and baseball tournaments, and University Heights Academy will play host to both the Eighth District softball and baseball tournaments.
The only district that will have split locations is the Seventh District. Hopkins County Central will host the district baseball tournament, while the softball tournament will be held at Madisonville.
District tournaments are scheduled to begin May 20.
For the first time since 2002, the Second Region Baseball Tournament will be hosted by Union County. The school renovated Sid Stone Stadium over the winter causing the baseball team to play their first 12 games away from home.
Webster County is the host of the Second Region Softball Tournament that, like the baseball tournament, will begin on Memorial Day. Webster County last hosted the region tournament in 2012.
