Heritage Christian Academy will be sending someone to play in college for the second consecutive year after Caleb Jones committed to Lakeland University in Wisconsin Wednesday.
Jones is 3-1 for the Warriors this spring with a save. He has struck out 42 batters in 24 innings pitched while yielding just five walks. Nine of the 25 runs he has allowed have been unearned.
At the plate, Jones is batting .282 with 12 runs batted in.
Last year, All-State pitcher Weslee Choate signed to play at Shawnee College in Illinois.
Lakeland is a NCAA Division III college in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The Muskies compete in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
