Easton McGee Improves to 4-0 for the Hot Rods

Easton McGee picked up his fourth straight win to start the season and got some offensive support as the Bowling Green Hot Rods beat Dayton 10-4 Saturday night at Bowling Green Ballpark.

McGee threw five innings of six-hit baseball.  He struck out three and walked just one in improving to 4-0 on the season.  His ERA stands at 2.44, which ranks ninth in the Midwest League.  His four wins are tied for second most in the league.  He has 32 strikeouts and 10 walks in 44 innings this year for the Class A Hot Rods. 

McGee is part of a Bowling Green starting rotation that has won six straight decisions and hasn’t taken a loss in 15 games.

Bowling Green is 29-20 and 2.5 games behind first place Great Lakes in the Midwest League Eastern Division.  The Hot Rods will continue their series with Dayton Monday afternoon in Bowling Green.
