A member of the Todd Central Rebels basketball team will have the opportunity to continue his basketball career on the collegiate level. 2019 Rebel graduate Clayte Weathers officially signed his papers Thursday evening to attend Spalding University in Louisville.
In his senior season for Todd County Central, Weathers averaged 7.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. He shot 26.9-percent from behind the 3-point arc, and shot 71.4-percent at the line.
Spalding University is an NCAA Division III school, and plays in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Golden Eagles finished the 2018 season at 11-14 overall and 10-8 in conference play.
