Three Caldwell County track and field athletes and a relay team were named to the All-Area Track and Field Team Saturday.
Dylan Cavanaugh (shot put), Tayjon Bumphus (300-meter hurdles), and Trace Olden (200-meters) were all named to the team as was the 400-meter relay team and the 800-meter relay team.
The criteria used for All-Area honors include their finish at the region meet, the state meet, and the Area 1 championships.
