The Caldwell County Tiger football team beat the summer heat with an 8 a.m. practice Wednesday morning, following the expiration of the KHSAA’s dead period on Tuesday.
The Tigers will head to Ohio County for 7-on-7 action on Thursday. Caldwell also has a 7-on-7 date at Marshall County on Tuesday and will take part in the FCA 7-on-7 event at Murray later next week.
The Tigers will open the regular season on Aug. 23 at home against Christian County.
