A former Caldwell County Lady Tiger volleyball standout has been named the head coach at Crittenden County.

Bayley (Tucker) McDonald was an assistant with the Lady Rockets last season but has been elevated to head coach for the 2019 season at Crittenden County, according to this week’s Crittenden Press.

McDonald replaces Cara Hunt, who left the Crittenden County post to take a teaching position at Lyon County.

McDonald is a 2011 graduate of Caldwell County High School. She was a member of Caldwell’s All ‘A’ Classic state championship team in 2010 and is also a former assistant coach with the Lady Tigers.

McDonald played college volleyball at Kentucky Wesleyan and Mid-Continent.

Crittenden had the 2nd Region’s best record last season at 25-6 and won the 5th District championship before falling in the first round of the regional tournament.
