Trigg County High School has finished restructuring their athletic department with the naming of co-athletic directors and two assistants.

Coby Lewis and Matt Wilder will share athletic director duties as co-athletic directors. Lewis is the head football coach at Trigg County and has previously served two years as assistant athletic director in the high school and two years as middle school athletic director.

Wilder is an assistant coach with girls’ basketball program and middle school basketball coach. He has also served as an assistant softball coach.

The school also announced that Ken Harrison and Billy Fortner have been selected as assistant athletic directors in the high school. Harrison is the Trigg County cross country coach. On Friday, he was also named the head coach of the track and field program.

Fortner formerly served as Trigg County softball coach and assistant athletic director. He was named the director of the Trigg County Recreation Complex earlier this year.

Matt Ladd had served as both director of operations and athletic director in a combined role for the past two years. The Trigg County School Board voted last month to sever those duties and create co-athletic directors and two assistant positions. The school will spend a combined total of $21,355 on the new positions. Ladd will retain his position as director of operations.
