Playing in their first golf match of the 2019 season, the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers finished 16th at the prestigious Greenwood Lady Gator Invitational at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Rheagan Lindsey led UHA with a round of 102, which included a score of 48 on the back nine.
Seventh grader Conlee Lindsey, playing in her first varsity match, shot identical 54s on each nine holes and carded a score of 108.
Riley Johnson shot a 114, followed by Lexi Johnson (129), and Jessah Hayden (140).
The golfers endured an afternoon of 90-degree weather that saw the round come in at just under six hours.
Defending state champion Laney Frye of Lexington Catholic won the 16-team event with an even-par round of 72. Frye tied with her teammate Delia Gibbs and won in a scorecard playoff.
