Talley Has an Early Tee Time for Scottish Open

Emma Talley is back in action this week.

The world’s best female golfers from the LPGA and the Ladies European Tour return to the Home of Golf this week at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland for the third playing of the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open.

The event marks the finale of the LPGA Tour’s 12-week summer stretch.

Talley, a 2012 Caldwell County High School grad, tees off in the first round at 7 a.m. Thursday morning. With the time difference, that’s 1 a.m. Thursday in the Central Time Zone.

In the second round on Friday, Talley begins her round at 12:20 p.m. in Scotland, or 6:20 a.m. Central time.

Talley begins on the 10th tee on Thursday and will go off No. 1 on Friday.

The Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open starts with 156 players. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the top 70 and ties.

Some 31 different countries will be represented in the field this week, including seven players from Scotland.

Talley is currently 95th on the LPGA Tour money list with just under $109,000 in earnings this season.
