Sophomore Ana Hernandez provided all the offense the Hopkinsville girls’ soccer team would need Saturday evening at Apollo High School, tallying 6 goals in route to a 10-0 victory over the E-Gals. The Lady Tigers win their second-straight and move to 2-1 with a road match-up with Fort Campbell on Monday.
Sarah Johnston found the back of the net 3 times and provided a couple of assists, followed by Grasen Givens with a goal and 3 assists. Abby Moss set up 2 goals and Laney Wilson and Morgan Woosley each provided an assist. Vy Nguyen earned the shutout in goal for the Lady Tigers.
The result is a huge turnaround from a year ago when the Lady Tigers fell 7-2 to the visiting E-Gals at the Stadium of Champions.
