Caldwell County freshman Claire Knoth shot a round of 81 to finish 10th Saturday at the Franklin-Simpson Invitational played at the Franklin Country Club.
The round was the best of the season for Knoth and came in a talented field of 63 golfers. Union County’s Sarah Hagedorn took medalist honors with a round of 74.
In the boys’ tournament played earlier in the day, Caldwell’s Austin Crick shot a 94.
